Introducing New kitten to Old Cat?

Someone asked:

my older cat is about 1 year and 2 months and my new kitten is 2 months.
Today is the 3rd day of having an new kitten.
I had already put the kitten in the carrier twice and let the older cat check him out.(he hissed and growled, but the kitten didn't she just meowed. So cute!)
The kitten is staying in an separte room right now, which is the bathroom.
What else should I do? Should I just let the kitten and cat meet or wait a few more days? I'm scared that the older cat will mabye scratch or attack the kitten...
Also I already got the kitten checked out, its healthy!!

Keep the new kitten separated from the cat for a couple more days. Then establish short introduction sessions to get the two kitties acquainted. Let the kitten out for about 10 minutes....if things go well that's great! If your cat acts agressively, then you know he's not ready yet.
